இன்ஜினியரிங் படிப்புக்கு, வரும் கல்வி ஆண்டில் நுழைவுத் தேர்வு இல்லை,'' என, அகில இந்திய தொழில்நுட்ப கல்வி கவுன்சிலான, ஏ.ஐ.சி.டி.இ.,யின் தலைவர், அனில் தத்தாத்ரேயா சகஸ்ரபுதே தெரிவித்தார்.

இந்தியாவுக்கான கல்வி மேம்பாட்டு அமைப்பின் சார்பில், இன்ஜி., நிறுவனங்களுக்கு ஏற்பட்டுள்ள சவால்கள் மற்றும் வாய்ப்புகள் குறித்த தேசிய அளவிலான மாநாடு, வேலுார், வி.ஐ.டி., பல்கலை வேந்தர், ஜி.விஸ்வநாதன் தலைமையில், சென்னையில் நடந்தது.

இதில், ஏ.ஐ.சி.டி.இ., யின் தலைவர், அனில் தத்தாத்ரேயா சகஸ்ரபுதே பேசியதாவது:

இன்ஜினியரிங் கல்லுாரி மற்றும் பல்கலைகளின் தரத்தை உறுதிப்படுத்துவது, ஏ.ஐ.சி.டி.இ.,யின் கையில் இல்லை; அதற்கு கல்வி நிறுவனங்கள் முயற்சிக்க வேண்டும்.

தேசிய தர அமைப்பான, என்.பி.ஏ.,வை போல், யு.ஜி.சி.,யின் தேசிய தரம் மற்றும் அங்கீகாரத்துக்கான, 'நாக்' அமைப்பு விரைவில் தனியாக பிரிக்கப்படும்.

கல்லுாரிகளின் செயல்பாடுகளை கண்காணித்து, தர அங்கீகாரம் வழங்கப்படும். எனவே, உயர்கல்வி நிறுவனங்கள் லாப நோக்கில் செயல்படுவதை, ஏ.ஐ.சி.டி.இ., ஏற்காது.

தேசிய தரவரிசை பட்டியலில், முன்னிலை பெறும் இன்ஜி., கல்வி நிறுவனங்கள், சர்வதேச தர பட்டியலில் முன்னிலை பெறுவதில்லை. இந்த நிலையை மாற்ற, கல்வி நிறுவனங்களின் தரத்தை உயர்த்த வேண்டும்.
தொடர்ந்து, ஐந்து ஆண்டுகளில், ௩௦ சதவீதத்துக்கு குறைவாக மாணவர்கள் சேரும் இன்ஜி., கல்லுாரிகளை மூடலாம் என, அறிவித்தோம்.

இது குறித்து, பல்வேறு நிறுவனங்கள் கருத்து தெரிவித்துள்ளன. எனவே, கல்லுாரிகளை மூடாமல், இரண்டு, மூன்று கல்லுாரிகளை இணைத்து, ஒரே கல்லுாரியாக்க அல்லது கலை, அறிவியல் கல்லுாரிகளாக மாற்ற அனுமதி அளிக்க உள்ளோம்.

இன்ஜி., கல்லுாரிகளின் பாடத்திட்டம், அவ்வப்போது புதுப்பிக்கப்பட வேண்டும். அடிப்படை பாடங்களை தாண்டி, ௧௬௦ கிரெடிட் மதிப்பெண்களில், விருப்ப பாடம் மற்றும் தொழில் பயிற்சி பெறும் முறையை அமல்படுத்தி உள்ளோம் வரும் கல்வி ஆண்டில், இன்ஜி., மாணவர் சேர்க்கைக்கு, 'நீட்' நுழைவுத் தேர்வு வர வாய்ப்பில்லை. மருத்துவ சேர்க்கைக்கான, 'நீட்' தேர்வில் பல்வேறு பிரச்னைகள் ஏற்பட்டுள்ளன. அவற்றை ஆய்வு செய்து வருகிறோம். அதன் குறைகளை சரி செய்த பின், இன்ஜி., படிப்பிற்கு நுழைவுத் தேர்வு குறித்து ஆய்வு செய்யப்படும். 

கட்டண கமிட்டி மீது அதிருப்தி : ஏ.ஐ.சி.டி.இ.,யின் தலைவர், மேலும் கூறியதாவது:
தமிழகத்தில், உயர்கல்வி கட்டண நிர்ணய கமிட்டி செயல்படுகிறதா என்றே தெரியவில்லை. கட்டண நிர்ணயம் மற்றும் பேராசிரியர்களுக்கு சம்பளம் வழங்குவதில், விதி மீறல்கள் உள்ளதாக புகார்கள் வருகின்றன. கல்வி நிறுவன விழாக்களில், மரக்கன்றுகளை பரிசாக வழங்கலாம்; அவர்களுக்காக, குறிப்பிட்ட இடத்தில் மரக்கன்று நட்டு, அந்த புகைப்படத்துடன் சான்றிதழ் வழங்கலாம். மரக்கன்று எந்த அளவுக்கு பராமரிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது என்பதை, இணையதளத்தில் பார்க்கும் வசதியை ஏற்படுத்தலாம். இவ்வாறு அவர் பேசினார்.

2010 & Before Batches IMPORTANT ARREAR KEY POINTS

Key points of the announcement made by Minister:

Last Chance - Students who joined Engineering till 2010, can appear for Examination in the month of February 2018 and in the month of August 2018. Hence, Students can make use of these last 2 attempts to get their degree by clearing their papers.

Exam Fees - Notification regarding Examination Fees to be paid and also Last date to pay Examination Fees for these Students will be announced by University in upcoming Days.

Time Table - Time Table for these Arrear Examinations will be announced later. Hence, There will be no changes in the already announced timetable for the Students who joined Engineering after the year 2010. Separate Examination Time Table will be announced for the Students who joined Engineering till 2010.

Examination Centers - Exams will be conducted at one center in each district. Hence, Students needs to know the Examination centers which will be announced by University.

Anna University gives a one-time Exemption on a ARREAR RULE

Students who joined in 2010 and earlier can write exams next year

Anna University has decided to give a one-time exemption from its earlier decision to disallow students who joined in 2010 and earlier from taking up arrear exams.

Minister for Higher Education K.P. Anbalagan said on Wednesday that the government has granted an extension to the students on humanitarian grounds.

A schedule for the arrear examinations and details of registration for the subjects, including the process to pay examination fees, will be announced at a later date and the exam will be conducted at one centre in every district.

The reason given for implementing the norm was that conducting arrear examinations for a long period of time affected the regular academic schedule and curtailed vacation time for regular students. When the university released the timetable for the November/ December semester, it did not contain details of exams for students of those who had joined in 2010 and before. Mr. Anbalagan further said that there were approximately around 40,000 students who had joined in 2010 and before who had to clear their arrears.

“As no further chance will be given to students from the category, they should utilise this opportunity and take utmost care to clear all the subjects,” he added.
